Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ModeledMind ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ModeledMind website and services (the "Service"). We keep data collection to the minimum the Service needs to function.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide. If the Service asks you to sign in or enter an access credential, we receive the email address or credential you provide. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message.
- Learning progress. Your lesson progress, quiz results, and similar course data are stored in your account on our servers, so your progress follows you across devices.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver the site securely and reliably.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service (including verifying access permissions).
- To remember your course progress.
- To respond to your inquiries.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Cookies
The Service uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and security cookies set by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) to verify authorized access. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the Service, including Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting, security, and access management) and Google Fonts (typeface delivery). These providers process technical data, such as IP addresses, as needed to deliver their services. Their handling of that data is described in their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Your account and course progress are retained while your account is active. Access-verification records are retained according to our security provider's standard retention periods.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to reset your course progress or delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and edge-enforced access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
